EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter Pack of 6

Made in the UK

Product No: 0119/DG06

The EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter (pack of 6) is installed within the storm drain to capture sediment and oil preventing contamination of drainage network.

The EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter can be used for any application where the potential to pollute the watercourse as a result of oil or sediment entering the drainage system exists. Particular industries of note are construction, farming, agriculture and manufacturing, but is suitable for all areas prone to polluting of the storm water drainage network.

The EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter is manufactured from a non-woven geotextile fabric and a nylon monofilament polyester layer that collects silt and absorbs oil whilst allowing water to pass through the material structure and flow into the drain.

Each EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter can hold a capacity of up to 1 litre of oil and retain up to 19kg of sediment.

HOW TO INSTALL

  1. Remove the drain cover and place the EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter into the drain opening.
  2. Re-place the drain cover back into place.
  3. Using an appropriate tool cut the excess orange material to the necessary drain size.
  4. If the drain has brackets, slits will need to be cut in the relevant location to allow the EnviroHorn™ to remain in place.

HOW TO REMOVE

When Drain Protector is either full of sediment or the task is completed, lift drain cover and remove the EnviroHorn™ Drain Filter by using the attached handles and dispose using your company guidelines and procedures.

MAINTENANCE

Please ensure that monitoring of the Drain Protector is conducted on a regular basis, to ensure the EnviroHorn™ performs to its maximum capabilities.
